The Weinberg and Heileselassie Labs, funded in partnership with the Mendez Family Foundation, are focusing on how dysfunctional mitochondria may be causing intestinal injury in Crohn's disease.

The Mater Research Institute team is exploring how the microbiome may be an upstream driver of fibrosis, a serious complication that affects half of Crohn's patients.

The Ghosh Lab is investigating the impaired partnership between two molecules involved in Crohn's disease.
